Robert L. Pelshaw is a successful commercial real estate developer and broker in the Midwestern United States, based in Omaha, Nebraska. He is an Associate Trainer for Dr. John C. Maxwell’s EQUIP Milton Leader Mandate. Bob devotes time, energy, and personal resources to public and community outreach activities; serving diverse organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands, the Omaha Civil Rights Hearing Board, the Douglas County Republican Party, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Bob Pelshaw’s unique spirit of entrepreneurship is the driving force behind the creation of several business entities, capitalizing on current and future opportunities in commercial real estate development, urban and rural planning, as well as emerging domestic and international energy project investment. His participation with governmental and corporate companies in Kenya centers on business leadership and investment strategies to assist in addressing the energy crisis in Eastern Africa. Projects include hydro-electric plants in Chinga, Gikira, and Ihururio, Kenya. Renewable energy such as wind turbines and solar panels to complement diesel generators is being developed to power the Kenyan telecom industry.
Closer to home, Bob has formed Property Energy Solutions. The company is designed with a mission to sell, install, and service top quality wind turbines. Customers include real estate developers, retail stores, shopping centers, and other customized power users. Property Energy has teamed up with Southwest Windpower, the largest producer of 400-3000 Watt wind generators. The Pelshaw Group is in discussions with retail business clients for the installation of demonstration small wind turbines at several geographical locations.
Bob Pelshaw is more than a successfully driven businessman. Bob is fundamentally and intrinsically an ambassador for good deeds, care of the planet, and love of humanity. His monograph published in 2000 Raising Up the Champion Within You is a thoughtful guide to fulfilling dreams and appreciating talent. Like his literary hero, King David, Bob applies character and faith to his daily interactions. In so doing, he reaps the benefits through his businesses and generously re-allocates them to an extended family of colleagues, friends, and community.
Richard Pelshaw is a Sales Director for Property Energy Solutions, a business unit of The Pelshaw Group. Richard is a specialist in the marketing and sale of the Skystream 3.7 wind generator, manufactured by Southwest Windpower. Additional wind turbines will be coming on-line as the wind power industry continues to grow.
Richard’s background and experience include management responsibilities in the auto business, glass industry, construction, and warehouse inventory control. Added to supervisory work history is the ownership of several service and retail businesses.
The current focus and interest nationally in renewable energy in residential and business applications has created a unique opportunity for The Pelshaw Group to engage in this strategic direction. There exists a competitive advantage, given the company’s successful commercial real estate development achievements, building retail businesses suited to renewable energy applications, such as wind and solar power.
Richard’s initial concentration will be on researching and identifying the rural wind energy market, building client relationships, and assessing emerging business trends.
