Bob Pelshaw
The team is lead by Bob Pelshaw, who coordinates the affiliate associates in various disciplines. Bob began his career as a property manager of commercial and multifamily units with PJ Morgan Real Estate in 1989. Afterwards, Pelshaw worked for the City of Omaha as a Right of Way Agent, honing his experience dealing with government, development, and zoning issues. A Broker since 1991, in 1993 Pelshaw founded his own commercial real estate management, brokerage, and development firm that since then has implemented over $500 Million in career transactions and projects.
Pelshaw earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and is completing his MBA as well as pursuing candidacy as a CCIM candidate. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and also serves as the Co-Chair for the Public-Private Alliance for Nebraska and Iowa. Pelshaw is a former Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands, where he served as Governance Committee Chair and Chairman of the Latino Mentoring Council. Other community service includes being a former Director and Secretary of the Mercado Corporation, plus various roles and offices on the board of directors of his church. Pelshaw also served on a Mayorially appointed position as Director and Secretary of the City of Omaha Civil Rights Hearing Board.
Pelshaw states his most significant charitable activity is serving as an Associate Trainer with Equip www.iequip.org . Equip was founded in 1996 by Dr. John C. Maxwell, the leadership expert, www.johnmaxwell.com to help train leadership globally. Equip has currently trained over 4 million leaders in over 150 countries, and is growing exponentially.
Pelshaw has taught leadership to thousands of high potential leaders in Africa and Latin America, and has travelled with Equip to Hong Kong and China.
Having lectured for the Anna W. Wiate School of Leadership at Creighton University, and for the Student Activities Board at Wayne State College, Pelshaw is an informed and engaging public speaker with a great sense of humor and infectiously positive attitude.
When not doing real estate, teaching leadership, or having involvement in his other business endeavors, Pelshaw relaxes by working out, cycling, riding his motorcycle, painting oil or acrylic paintings, voraciously reading, skiing, travelling, cooking, playing racquetball, writing, or engaging in the lost art of conversation.
