The Kenya Power Alliance

R.L. Pelshaw, CEO of PES, recently signed a joint venture agreement under ENERGY PROJECTS CHINGA LTD, ENERGY PROJECTS GIKIRA LTD, and ENERGY PROJECTS IHURIRIO LTD of Kenya to develop micro hydro plants in Kenya as an Independent Power Producer (IPP), providing power into the national grid. Further opportunities in rural electrification, wind farms, and industry specific opportunities will also be explored with our Kenyan joint venture partner.

Kenya is in a prolonged power crisis because of rapidly increasing demand in a woefully supplied market. Given the energy crisis in Eastern Africa, the time is ripe to extract substantial profits solving the problems endemic in this emerging market.
